Two bottom-half AAC teams will go at it on Wednesday night, as the 3-6 Tulsa Golden Hurricane will head to Memphis to take on the 4-5 Memphis Tigers. Following a 4-1 start that saw them pick up two conference wins over Temple and Navy, the heels have fallen off for the Tigers, losing four straight since giving up an average of 38.5 points per game.
For Tulsa, the story has been similar, starting 2-1 out of the gates before losing five of six since, as points allowed continue to be an issue. As of this week, this Tulsa defense is allowing 33.2 points per game to rank amongst the last in college football. With two top 30 passing attacks in the country, look for both teams to stick to what they do well in this one, as this one goes beyond the total before all is said and done.
