College Football Week 12 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Boston College vs. Notre Dame
An old-school college football rivalry returns this week, as Boston College heads to South Bend to take on the Notre Dame Fighting Irish. “Old school†is key in terms of the rivalry, as Notre Dame has won the last eight (4-4 ATS) meetings and covered the last three. The Irish are the hotter team coming into this one as well, winning their past four straight including a huge 35-14 win over then-top-10 Clemson.
New head coach Marcus Freeman might have finally started to turn a corner, as he has this Notre Dame defense buckling down more and more each week. As for the Eagles, Boston College has struggled on both sites of the ball but most notably on offense. Coming into this game, BC ranks 117th or worse in total yards, rushing yards, and points scored per game.
With much to play for in terms of bowl appearances, look for a focused effort from Notre Dame here as they blow out BC once again.
