No. 1 Alabama vs. Texas

  • Bryce Young over 320 passing yards (-130)
  • Jahmyr Gibbs over 90 rushing yards (+100)

This will be the game everyone will pay attention to this weekend as the new and improved Texas offense gets its first big test as Alabama comes into Austin.

Nick Saban is struggling against his former assistants and has now lost two out of his three games against a coach who formally worked for him.

The Tide doesn’t need any billboard material, but they will be ready for this matchup and leave this game with the Longhorns on the hook for a big loss.

It’s clear Alabama has the advantage on both lines. The defensive line with Will Anderson and Dallas Turner is one of the best in the country, and last week the Texas offensive line was consistently giving up pressure against Lousiana-Monroe. The Tide are going to have Quinn Ewers scrambling all day.

The Alabama offensive line that was near the bottom in sacks allowed and pressure percentage last year looked good against the Moutain West champions Utah State and should handle the Texas line.
