College Football Week 4 Player Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions

(Odds are courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Wake Forest QB Sam Hartman UNDER 295.5 pass yards vs. Clemson (-115)

The Clemson defense is way too good to give up nearly 300 yards to Hartman even if it is at Wake and the Deacons will rely on their passing game heavily. The number is high because many think this will be a blowout and Wake will be passing from behind. But I see this as a closer game than most and Wake Forest will play with more balance keeping Hartman’s numbers lower.

Florida QB Anthony Richardson OVER 41.5 rushing yards vs. Tennessee (-115)

Everyone knows that Richardson needs to run the ball to be an effective passer but oddly it hasn’t happened much since the opening win over Utah. That should change. I don’t mind this number being a little high because he’s athletic enough to rip off one or two big runs to surpass it. The Gators only chance to win is to use Richardson as a running weapon and I think they will.

Notre Dame TE Michael Mayer OVER 49.5 passing yards vs. North Carolina (-140)

This number seems low so take it. Mayer has 2 catches for 10 yards last week in a tight win over Cal. UNC has a horrible defense and no solution for Mayer so he should be targeted much more this week after oddly being an afterthought in the game plan last week. He could have a 100-yard game.

Michigan TE Erick All OVER 0.5 receiving touchdowns vs. Maryland (+290)

Michigan has shown nothing of their true offense against horrible competition so far. But with a new QB in JJ McCarthy and a huge TE target like All, the latter will be leaned on much more than we’ve seen. He’s going to be a major part of their red zone attack and should score one touchdown today. And the +290 I love.

Arkansas RB Raheim Sanders OVER 0.5 rushing touchdowns vs. Texas A&M (+100)

Rocket Sanders has emerged as one of the top RBs in college football while the A&M defense has been tough despite an embarrassing loss to App State. This is power against power but keeping Sanders out of the end zone if Arkansas gets close is hard to do. Take the +100 for him to score once on the ground.

What are Player Props?
Player props refer to wagers that bettors can make based on player performance in a specific game. The majority of player props are built around the most common statistical benchmarks for a specific sport such as yards and touchdowns in football. Most player props are straight over/under plays that open at or near -110 and are adjusted based on where the money lands. Examples of baseball player prop bets include over/under 4.5 strikeouts for a starting pitcher or over/under 1.5 total bases for a hitter.
