College Football Week 7 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Auburn vs. Ole Miss
With the loss of one of the top quarterbacks in the country this offseason, few had Ole Miss able to claw into the top 10 by this point in the season, but that is exactly where they find themselves (#9). Head coach Lane Kiffin has created yet another stud, this time in wide receiver Jonathan Mingo who comes into this one on the heels of a 247-yard 2 touchdown performance vs. Vanderbilt last week.
For the visiting Tigers, Bryan Harsin has survived yet another week, losing 42-10 to Georgia last week in a game that was never competitive. Part of the patience with him has likely been the absence of his QB1, as TJ Finley continues to miss time with a sprain in his throwing shoulder. Robby Ashford has been below par in his replacement, throwing for 874 yards and TD:INT ratio of 4:3.
Opening at -13.5, this line, however, has gotten too big for my taste and officially has crossed over into Auburn or pass territory.
