College Football Week 7 Player Prop Bets Odds, Picks & Predictions

Alabama RB Jahmyr Gibbs OVER 0.5 receiving touchdowns at Tennessee (+285)

Gibbs leads Alabama in receptions and has scored three times through the air this season. With the QB situation for the Tide iffy, he will be relied upon in the passing game this weekend and will be a red zone threat. He will score no matter what and I think these are nice odds for a receiving touchdown.

Minnesota RB Mo Ibrahim UNDER 101.5 rushing yards at Illinois (-115)

Illinois gives up 67.2 rushing yards per game and bottled up Braelon Allen with a great gameplan against Wisconsin a couple of weeks ago. They know Ibrahim is the fuel of this offense and shutting him down is key and I’ll take the No. 1 defense in the country to keep him well below 101.5.

NC State WR Thayer Thomas UNDER 58.5 receiving yards at Syracuse (-125)

This is an odd one. Thomas isn’t well known in national circles but he is the leading receiver for the Wolfpack. However, he’s gone over 58.5 yards only twice is and coming off a game where he didn’t register a coach as Devin Leary went down to injury. Leary could play and Thomas is his favorite target but there’s also a chance that backup Jack Chambers plays. Chambers was a prolific passer at FCS Charleston Southern prior to transferring to NC State but he threw one pass after Leary went down last weekend. Add in the stout Syracuse pass defense and I think Thomas stays below this number.

LSU WR Kayshon Boutte OVER 38.5 receiving yards at Florida (-110)

I have to take one more chance. Boutte is one of the most talented receivers in the country and has been horrible this season and hasn’t been targeted so his receiving yards props keep going down as does his NFL Draft stock. This number is so low but a slight chemistry is developing between QB Jayden Daniels and Boutte, I saw it last week. He has a big game in him and it could be this week.

USC QB Caleb Williams UNDER 271.5 passing yards at Utah (-115)

Williams has struggled two of his last three games and the Utah defense is good at home. I know they gave up nearly 300 yards passing to Dorian Thompson-Robinson last weekend but that was on the road and the atmosphere in Utah will hurt an up and down USC offense that needs rhythm. Williams has also become a bigger part of the run game which will keep his passing numbers lower.
