College Football Week 8 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Ole Miss vs. LSU
Opening up a one-point home underdog, we’ve seen this number flip as the 5-2 LSU Tigers are now laying nearly two points to #7 Ole Miss. For Lane Kiffin and company, the offense has almost picked up where it left off last season, now scoring 40.9 points per game with a #3 in the country rushing attack (271.4 yards per game). The defense has also taken a step up, allowing just 17.3 points per game with one of the best secondaries in the SEC.
As for the Tigers, one injury after another has stopped what could be a one-loss season to this point, as they come into this one following one of their most complete games of the season. On the road at Florida, the Tigers put up 528 yards of offense, as QB Jayden Daniels scored four touchdowns on the night.
Ole Miss’s allowing of Auburn back in the game last week is likely reflected here, but I still think they should be favored. Hotty Toddy.
