College Football Week 8 Odds, Picks & Prediction: UCLA vs. Oregon
A preview of the PAC-12 Championship game might very well be on display Saturday afternoon in Oregon, as the #10 UCLA Bruins come to town to take on the #9 Ducks. For the visiting Bruins, head coach Chip Kelly might very well have his best offense since coming to LA, as QB Dorian Thompson-Robinson has really turned a corner this season now completing 75% of his passes. With a TD: INT ratio of 15:2, DTR has this UCLA team humming along but one of which will now face its toughest test to date.
For the Ducks, Bo Nix’s transfer from Auburn has proved to be the difference this season, as the dual-threat QB has eight touchdowns on the ground to go along with 331 yards; leading all PAC-12 QBs. Nix also has been competent behind the line, completing 70% of his passes and throwing 12 TDs.
With two secondaries amongst the worst in CFB, I like for this one to get aired out quickly and go over the total before all is said and done.
