College Football Week 9 Odds, Picks & Prediction: Ohio State vs. Penn State
The biggest game of the week pits two top 15 Big 10 foes against one another as #2 Ohio State visits #13 Penn State. For the visiting Buckeyes, an opening game 21-10 win over Notre Dame has been the only time they’ve been challenged thus far, putting up an eye-popping 49.6 points per game to this point in the season. Defensively, Ohio State has also been elite, allowing just 14.9 points per game and allowing 240 yards per game to rank #5 and #2, respectively.
As for the Nittany Lions, another big game resulted in another big loss for James Franklin and company two weeks ago, losing to Michigan on the road 17-41 in a game that was 17-16 at the half. The offense has been competent in its own right, scoring 33.4 points per game.
With the underdog 5-1 ATS in the last six between these two, I look for this one to also stay within the number.
