College Football Week 9 Same Game Parlays Picks & Predictions: TCU vs. West Virginia

#7 TCU  vs. West Virginia

  • Leg 1: Maxx Duggan over 277.5 passing yards (-114)
  • Leg 2: Over 68.5 total points (-114)
  • Leg 3: TCU -7.5 (-106)
  • Leg 4: Quentin Johnson over 84.5 (-114)

Last week was a big test for TCU as they faced Kansas State’s top 25 scoring defense, which was the first top 75 in that category they’ve seen this season. In the first half, the Wildcats controlled the ball on offense and contained the Horned Frogs, and with a 28-10 lead, it looked like they would come away with the upset. TCU flipped the switch on that top-three offense and scored the final 28 points to stay perfect on the year. Max Duggan did his usual, threw for 280 yards and three touchdowns, and continues his fantastic season.

West Virginia, at 1-3 in a very competitive B12, will not only have the chance to play spoiler this year. The defense has been abysmal as the 117th scoring defense and is 103rd in third-down defense.

That’s been their downfall, as they can put up the points averaging over 34 per game. The run game has been masterful with Tony Mathis Jr, and TCU hasn’t been to win in the trenches at all this season. Even with a below-average defense, the Horned Frogs have too much firepower for the Mountaineers to keep up but look for an old fashion B12 shootout.
