Colts vs. Cowboys: Sunday Night Football Touchdown Scorer Prop Bets (Week 13)

All props are from DraftKings.

Indianapolis Colts First TD Scorer: Jonathan Taylor (+200)

The Indianapolis offense has been awful at times this year. They have failed to score a single touchdown twice this season, including just a few weeks ago. Meanwhile, the Cowboys have held their opponent without a touchdown twice over their past five games. At +600, no Colts touchdown scored is an intriguing bet. However, Taylor will be the guy to find the end zone if the Colts score tonight. The superstar running back is finally healthy after battling an ankle injury earlier this year. More importantly, he scored the first Indianapolis touchdown in 25% of the games this season, including two straight contests. Furthermore, the opposing running backs have scored the first touchdown against the Cowboys three times this season, including Saquon Barkley last week.

Dallas Cowboys First TD Scorer: Ezekiel Elliott (+295)

While the veteran running isn’t the superstar he once was, Zeke remains one of the best running backs at getting in the end zone. The former top-five pick scored the first touchdown for the Cowboys in nearly half of the games this season, including two straight contests and four of the past six matchups. Furthermore, he is second on the team with seven scrimmage touchdowns despite missing two games because of injury. Meanwhile, the Colts have struggled to slow down opposing running backs lately. Last week, the first touchdown they surrendered was to Najee Harris. Moreover, Indianapolis’ first touchdown given up has been to a running back in three of the past five contests.

Anytime TD Scorer: Michael Pittman (+195)

Given how limited the Colts’ offense has been this season, scoring only 18 touchdowns, they might not find the end zone tonight. Yet, Taylor at -110 and Pittman at +195 are the only Indianapolis players I would bet on to score a touchdown in this game. Taylor leads the team with four scrimmage touchdowns this season. Meanwhile, Pittman has only two touchdowns this season but does account for 18.2% of the Colts’ receiving scores. More importantly, he and Taylor were the only two Colts to score last week against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Assuming Indianapolis can find the end zone tonight, Taylor or Pittman to score an anytime touchdown are solid bets.

Anytime TD Scorer: Tony Pollard  (-110)

Despite missing two games with a knee injury, Elliott is second on the team with seven scrimmage touchdowns. Right ahead of him is his running mate Pollard. The former Memphis star has six rushing touchdowns this season, while Zeke has seven. However, Pollard has two receiving touchdowns, the third-most on the team. Furthermore, his eight scrimmage touchdowns are the 10th-most in the NFL. More importantly, the emerging star running back has scored at least one touchdown in three of the past four games, totaling six touchdowns during that span. Meanwhile, Pittsburgh scored two touchdowns last week against the Colts, both by running backs. Bettors should consider a same-game parlay of Zeke and Pollard to score an anytime touchdown at +285.
