Early NFL Parlay and Best Bets: Week 15 (2021)

With just four more weeks including this one in the 2021 NFL regular season, the playoff battles are as close as they’ve ever been to this point. From here on out, every game is critical for the remaining teams in the playoff hunt, and no team has yet confirmed a spot in the playoffs.

This week, we’re taking a look at the

Leg #1. Patriots ML | +120 at DK Sportsbook

Winners of their last seven straight, the Patriots come into this one once again in the role of underdog in part due to an offense that trails behind its counterpart in this one.  The #3 team in the league in points scored, the Colts come into this game #2 in the league in rushing yards as 2nd year running back Jonathan Taylor has exploded and leads an attack producing more than 150 yards per game.

For me in this one, however, I like for the Patriot’s defense which is allowing a league-best 15.4 points per game, to key in on Taylor and make Carson Wentz beat them; a feat I don’t see as likely.

Leg #2. Steelers ML | +110 at DK Sportsbook

After a dog fight vs. the Ravens the week prior, the Steelers came out completely flat last week, trailing the Vikings 23 points at the half in Minnesota. Outscoring them 28-13 in the second half, the Steelers came just one play short of having the chance to tie it up, in a too little too late type of effort for the Black and Gold.

Returning to Heinz Field for this one, the Steelers draw a Titans team that’s lost three of their last four, knocking off the sputtering Jaguars in their only win during that stretch. I like for the Steelers to come out hungry in this one, and pick up a big win at home where they’ve been a different team all season long.

Leg #3. Bengals ML | +110 at DK Sportsbook

We’re sticking in the AFC North for this one and picking another slight underdog to win outright. Just three weeks ago, the Bengals throttled the Steelers 41-10 and looked poised to make a run to the playoffs.

Having dropped two straight since the Bengals sit just a half-game ahead of those same Steelers, and one game behind the Ravens at the top of the division. For the Broncos, who have an identical record of 7-6, a win last week vs. the Lions kept their own playoff chances alive.

In what will be a critical game for both teams, I like for Joe Burrow and his top 10 Bengal’s offense to be too much for the Broncos’ offense to compete with in what I see as a shoot-out type game at Mile High.
