Eberlein Drive and Best Virginia both won their last games by double digits.
Best Virginia showed off tremendous defense in a 74-61 win over Shell Shock. They held Shell Shock to 38.6% from the field and gave up only four threes on 25 attempts in the win.
Meanwhile, Best Virginia got 24 points from James Reese V. He shot 9-for-18 from the field and played 41 minutes. Ultimately, Best Virginia is comfortable with an eight-man rotation. All eight players who played at least 15 minutes scored at least one field goal in their most recent game. The squad still struggled from downtown and didn’t get to the foul line often. Still, Best Virginia made up for it with their scoring inside the arc.
On the other hand, Eberlein Drive limited Sideline Cancer to 1-of-18 from three in their 88-75 win. While they gave up 23 foul shots, Sideline Cancer only made 52.2% of them. That’s one of the reasons Eberlein Drive was able to escape.
