FanDuel, DraftKings Disagree on Western Conference Favorite After Warriors’ Game 5 Loss
The Golden State Warriors were in the driverâs seat heading into their Western Conference Semifinals matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies on Wednesday night. The general consensus was also that they were the favorite to win the Western Conference after taking a 3-1 series lead after two consecutive wins at home. But they were demolished in what was an eventual 134-95 loss on Wednesday, and at least one sportsbook is reconsidering their Western Conference Winner Odds as a result.
While FanDuel Sportsbook (-105) still has the Warriors as the favorite to come out of the West, DraftKings Sportsbook has moved the Phoenix Suns to -115 and the Warriors to +115. BetMGM and Caesars Sportsbook arenât taking sides and have both teams listed as EVEN.

What are Team Futures?
Futures refers to any team-based wager for a future event or a result. These bets often do not pay out until weeks or even months from when they are originally placed. Bets for Win Totals and the NBA Finals winner are good examples of team futures bets.
