And just like that, we are onto the 2022 FIFA World Cup knockout round, as single-elimination bracket-style play is set to begin on Saturday morning. After the USA’s fate is decided on Saturday, four teams will be in action Sunday as Group D winner France takes on Poland and Group B winner England takes on Senegal.

Let’s take a look at two single-game parlays I have cooked up for the Sunday slate. And here’s a closer look at France vs. Poland.

2022 World Cup Same Game Parlay Picks & Predictions: France vs. Poland

France vs. Poland (Al-Thumama Stadium, Al-Thumama; 10 a.m.)

• Leg 1: France (-370)
• Leg 2: Anytime Goalscorer – Antoine Griezmann (+160)
• Leg 3: Over 3.5 Goals (+210)

The defending World Cup champions had many skeptics going into this tournament but should have mostly eliminated them in the group round as they are now full of confidence going into the knockout stage.

Les Bleus may have lost their most recent match against Tunisia, but they could rotate their lineup because they had already secured a spot in the knockout round. Even so, Antoine Griezmann should have scored an equalizer for France had he not been flagged for offside by a hair.

They will compete against a Poland team that scored goals in just one of its three games in the group stage, with both of its goals coming against Saudi Arabia. Czeslaw Michniewicz, the team’s head coach, is aware that his team must advance the ball forward more if they are to stand a chance against the World Cup champions.

Look for the reigning champs to roll in this one as Griezmann gets his revenge.
