Washington will be playing their second consecutive game vs the Giants, with a bye week having been sandwiched in between. The edge of rest, and having spent three consecutive weeks prepping for New York are crucial, but perhaps being overblown. The Giants played the Commanders to a tie in Week 13, and should have won that game. New York has proven already that they match up well with this team, and the advantage which Washington has from playing at home is not significant.
In their previous matchup, Washington was a three-point favorite. That line felt inflated at the time, as does this one now. Still, it is a bit conspicuous that the line has steadily been at NYG +4.5 throughout the week.
