The Texans host the surging Jaguars in a matchup that actually means very little for Jacksonville. Much like Tennessee, Jacksonville has its sights set on that Week 18 matchup.

Houston presents a tough matchup with the Jaguars. Houston has won just six games since the beginning of 2021 and three of those victories came at the Jaguars’ expense. For this fourth and final matchup, the Jaguars get a hot Texans team. The Texans have covered in three consecutive games. The defense has led the way by containing explosive offenses in Dallas and Kansas City. In the last three weeks their defensive DVOA has been 11th best in the league.

The Jaguars are a young team that hasn’t been in this position before. An experienced coach will try to keep them focused, but if they let up this Houston team is feisty and capable of beating this Jaguar team like they have in their last three matchups.
