Many will nitpick Sinner’s loss Round of 16 loss to Francisco Cerundolo in Rome, but that Cerundolo also improved to a respectable 5-6 vs. top-10 players with that win.

Sinner has reached the fourth round or better in all three French Open appearances, but that seems like the ceiling for him as his fitness for five-set matches has long been in question given that he has yet to reach a semifinal at a Grand Slam.
