NFL Week 18 Odds, Picks & Predictions: Jets vs. Dolphins
The Dolphins are in a must-win situation, and they need the Patriots to lose to become playoff eligible. Tua Tagovailoa is not in their preparations for this week due to his concussion, and Teddy Bridgewater hurt the pinky finger on his throwing hand in last week’s loss to New England. Skylar Thompson is in line to start opposite Mike White. The Jets rank second in the league in passing yards allowed, so the Dolphins need to lean on the rushing game. In three games without Tua, they have run for an average of 99 yards per game as a team. They also lost all three of those games.
This Jets squad is quite different from the team that won by 23 earlier this season. Mike White has been inefficient at quarterback, with only three TDs and four interceptions with a 75.7 rating. This game will not be an offensive explosion.
