La Liga Betting: Weekly Odds & Game Picks: Week 17 (2021)
With 16 weeks down in La Liga, things are starting to heat up in Spain as the weather gets cold across the continent. With a holiday break just around the corner, teams continue to jockey for position at both ends of the table.
Let’s look at a week 17 matchup I have my eye on.

Osasuna vs. Barcelona, 8:00 AM, EST
A promising start for Osasuna has been followed up by a run of bad performances as they come into this one having scored just one goal over their last six games. On the season, they now have a goal differential of -4, despite being in the middle of the table just five spots out of potential promotion.
Their opponent in this one, Barcelona, finds themselves in the unfamiliar position of being outside the top four in the table, currently #7 with just 23 points on the season. Following the departure of Messi this offseason, their manager was also let go a couple of months ago, as they look to regroup and form a new identity down the back half of the season.
Over their last five games, Barca has secured points in four and come into this one in desperate need of points as the halfway point of the season approaches. In this one, I like for Memphis Depay to find the back of the net, as the striker has a staggering 11 goals on the season and is known for taking advantage of weak back lines.
With 19 goals allowed on the season, Osasuna is allowing more than one per game, and I see Barca running away with this one early in a spot where they are the much more talented team.
