La Liga Betting: Weekly Odds & Game Picks: Week 36 (2022)
With less than two weeks remaining in the 2021-22 La Liga season, things have been solidified at the very top, as teams now just jockey for positioning in positions 2-5 and at the bottom. Relegation is on the table for those teams that finish in the bottom three of the league as they will fall out of La Liga’s top league.
Let’s take a closer at two teams on opposite ends of the table, both looking to finish out the season strong.

Thursday
Real Madrid vs. Levante, 3:30 PM, EST
Having secured both the La Liga title and their spot in next season’s Champions League, summer has already started for much of Real Madrid’s top brass. That was never more on display than on Sunday, as the team fell 1-0 on the road at Atletico Madrid in a game mostly mailed in from the champions.
Three games remain, including Thursday’s match at home, as the team looks to set a precedent for next season and continue their dominance in Spain’s top league. Their opponent in this one’s fortune this season has been less than comparable.
The worst team in the league for much of the season, Levante has made a push over the past two weeks, claiming from dead last to #19 on the table and just six points (as it stands now) away from avoiding relegation in the final three spots.
Winners of 2 of their past four, Levante boasts a goal differential of +3 over that span, having knocked off Real Sociedad last week in an impressive 2-1 victory, a game both teams needed badly. Now drawing a Real Madrid with their guard down, I expect Levante to find the back of the net in this one just as they have in every match since February 4th.
In the end, I expect the talent of Real Madrid to reign supreme, but I think this could be a close match early on with both teams scoring.
