We were on them last week, cashing as -165 favorites, and we’re going back to the well with Sevilla this week. Coming into this week #3 on the table with a goal differential of +8, Sevilla has won four of their first six including the past two weeks by an aggregate score of 5-1.
Led by strikers Erik Lamela and Youssef En-Nesyri who have a combined six goals, Sevilla also boasts a backline who has conceded just two goals through six games, best in La Liga.
On the other side of this matchup, Granada has struggled mightily out of the gates, scoring just two goals through seven and losing four of their first seven outright. With the other three games resulting in draws, Granada has yet to find the win column, and the task should get significantly harder this week as Sevilla comes to town.
The last time we saw them on the pitch, a 0-1 loss to Celta Vigo, Granada lost the time of possession battle by a staggering 46% as things seem to only be getting worse by the week. Facing a Sevilla squad who knows they need early wins to stack while they can get them, I sense a blood-in-the-water kind of game and for them to find the back of the net early in often.
