La Liga Odds, Picks & Predictions for Matchday 14 (2022)
Only two days remain in the first part of the season for La Liga, as Thursday marks the final slate of games until December 31st. With only a handful of teams in action this week, let’s take a closer look at two Thursday games I’m keyed in on that have remaining value.

La Liga Odds, Picks & Predictions for Matchday 14 (2022)
Real Madrid (-700) vs. Cadiz (+1500)
Real Madrid comes into a match following a defeat for the first time this season, as they were handed their first loss last week on the road at Rayo Vallecano. In the 3-2 defeat, Real Madrid never fully got their legs after playing just a few days earlier in Champions League vs. Celtic.
Their opponent, Cadiz, comes in just two games removed from their second win of the season, picking up a draw last week despite failing to score a goal. Coming into this match with a season goal differential of -16, Cadiz has a goal differential of -3 over their past four matches.
In this one, expect Real Madrid to get back on track in a big way, taking out some of their frustrations against Cadiz as they run away with this one. Expect a big game from striker Vinicius Junor, who currently is tied with teammate Federico Valverde with 13 points on the season.
Pick: Real Madrid -2 (+135)
Valencia (+110) vs. Real Betis (+260)
Speaking of elite strikers, Real Betis has one of their own in Borja Iglesias, who comes into this match #2 on the goal scorers table with 13 points (eight goals) on the season. His play has been a big part of Betis’ success to this point, as they currently sit #5 on the table in a three-way tie with Athletic Bilbao and Atletico Madrid (24 points each).
As for Valencia, a strong start has been followed by a lull as of late, having failed to pick up a win since October 17th. Over their past five matches, they have a goal differential of -2, as they have lacked the ability to pull away from games.
In this one, I like Iglesias to be the difference, as Real Betis gets this one done on the road before heading into the break.
