La Liga Picks & Predictions for Matchday 13 (2022)
A third of the season has come and gone in La Liga, as all teams have played at least 12 games, and positioning in the table is starting to form. At the top, Real Madrid and Barcelona are the only two teams with a goal differential in the positive double digits, with a +19 and +25, respectively.
With another jam packed weekend of action, let’s take a closer look at two spots I’m on that still have some value left.

La Liga Odds, Picks & Predictions for Matchday 13 (2022)
Rayo Vallecano (+450) vs. Real Madrid (-170)
After a relatively slow start, Rayo Vallecano has picked up points in their past four games, and come into this match on the first two-game win streak of the season. A closer look, however, shows the quality of those wins are about as bad as it gets in La Liga. Beating both Cadiz and Sevilla, both teams lead only Elche on the table, currently ranked 18th and 19th in the league.
As for Real Madrid, they currently sit atop the table, leading Barcelona by one point with a record of 10-2-0. Additionally, they’re the only team left in the league and one of the only left in Europe to have not lost a match this season.
Led by one of the best 1-2 punches in all of Spain VinÃcius Júnior and Federico Valverde lead the way for Real Madrid with a combined 12 goals, both inside the top four scorers of the league. Look for Real Madrid to score early and never look back in a game they should run away with.

Elche (+185) vs. Girona FC (+150)
We head to the bottom of the table for this one as the last place Elche heads to take on the newly promoted Girona FC. Just as they started last season, Elche has been putrid to start this one, currently, the only team left in La Liga without a win, currently sitting at 0-4-8. They also have the worst goal differential in the league at -19 heading into this week.
Girona has had a tough go of things to start the season, as was to be expected coming up from the Second League. They seemingly have started to turn a corner on the field, however, picking up points in three of their past four matches. Hitting the road to take on Elche, I like for Girona to have enough to get their first win in over a month here.
