Lightning vs. Coyotes

  • Leg 2: OVER 6.5 Total Goals (-175)

The Lightning came out of the All-Star break rusty by getting smacked 7-1 to Florida, then an upset home loss to San Jose. They've shaken it off with three convincing wins against the Avalanche twice and the Stars.

Brandon Hagel and Anthony Cirelli have been the two stars on the forward unit during the win streak. Cirelli has three goals and three assists, with Hagel grabbing three goals and two assists.

Andrei Vasilevskiy played last night, so it will be Brian Elliott between the pipes. Elliott tends to struggle against good offensive opponents but can hold it down against below-average ones.

He’ll get the ladder when he faces Arizona. The offense doesn't have playmakers besides Clayton Keller, and Lawson Crouse is showing some upside. The defense and goaltending have been at the bottom all year, and they're already missing Shayne Gostisbehere on the blue line, and now Jakob Chychrun is also out.

Even with the rest disadvantage, I can't see the Bolts falling to the Coyotes, especially going against that defense.
