Sunday’s Best WNBA Player Prop Picks: Lynx vs. Sparks
(Odds Courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)
Napheesa Collier Over 23.5 Points (-114)
Collier was one of the best scoring threats in the league in 2024 (tied for fourth; 20.4 points per game). If Friday's game against Dallas is any indication, it looks like she's picking up where she left off (12-of-21 for 34 points). Don't bank on her scoring 34 again, but Collier will certainly score in the mid to high 20s.
Kelsey Plum Over 21.5 Points (-102)
Plum averaged 17.8 last season as the secondary option in Vegas to A'ja Wilson. This year in LA, she appears to be the team's primary scoring option (it was Dearica Hamby last season). She had 37 in the season opener against the Valkyries. However, Minnesota will play better defense and not foul as much (Plum was 11-of-11 from the free throw line vs. Golden State).
She didn't score more than 20 vs. the Lynx last season, but she'll see more shots against them this year with the Sparks.
Bridget Carleton Under 10.5 Points (-125)
There are only so many shots to go around. With the Lynx, Napheesa Collier and Courtney Williams will come first; they took 36-of-66 shots in the season opener vs. Dallas. Carleton took five and only made one for three points on the night. Since she doesn't shoot much, she's not going to find her way to the free-throw line much to supplement her total. She will probably make a few more today, but will not take enough to surpass 10.5 points.
