Dallas Mavericks vs. Philadelphia 76ers NBA Summer League Picks
The Dallas Mavericks gave Cooper Flagg some run earlier in the NBA Summer League. However, the No. 1 overall pick has been shut down for the remainder of the Summer League.
Without Flagg, the Mavericks lost to the Hornets, 87-69. Ryan Nembhard led Dallas with 11 points, but nobody stood out offensively. Dallas shot just 33.8% from the field and took only 10 foul shots in the entire game against Charlotte.
Meanwhile, the Philadelphia 76ers rolled by the Washington Wizards last time out, 74-58. It was Philadelphia’s first win in Las Vegas. Yet, the offense only shot 37.5% from the field. The defense and rebounding were on point, but the offense wasn’t. VJ Edgecombe scored 15 points and filled up the box score. Justin Edwards also added 17 points with eight rebounds, while Johni Broome recorded a double-double.
That said, right now, the 76ers easily have the better starting lineup. Let’s back Philadelphia -6.5.
