Here are betting previews and picks for second-round matchups.

(7) Missouri Tigers (-7) vs. (15) Princeton Tigers | Total 149

Eight minutes remained in Princeton’s game against Arizona, and the Wildcats appeared to be cruising to an easy victory with a 10-point advantage. But after that, the Tigers became focused and scored seven straight baskets in the space of two minutes to close off the game with a 9-0 run. The only Tiger to reach double digits was Evbuomwan, but the Tigers’ defense was solid and they limited Arizona to 3-for-16 from three-point range.

With a team three-point percentage of 40% and individual three-pointers from D’Moi Hodge (23) and Kobe Brown (19 points), Missouri defeated the Aggies while playing at its best as a unit. The Tigers were down two with nine minutes remaining before Brown got hot, making three three-pointers in the space of three minutes to give Missouri the lead for good. The 6’8″ Brown is typically the tallest player on the court for the Tigers, who play a fast and aggressive style of basketball without being hesitant to take shots.

Princeton’s ride comes to an end here, as three of Missouri’s guards are capable of making their own shots, unlike Arizona. While it may be close early, this one should be comfortably won by Missouri.

The pick: Missouri -7 (-110)
