San Francisco Giants (-105) vs. Milwaukee Brewers (-115) | O/U 7.5 (-105/-115)

The premier pitching matchup of the day takes place in Wisconsin this afternoon as Logan Webb goes toe-to-toe with Corbin Burnes. The Giants will be looking for their third consecutive victory over the Brewers in this spot. First pitch is scheduled for 4:10 p.m. ET from American Family Field in Milwaukee, WI.

I’m not overthinking this one and I’m rolling with the under. These are two of the top pitchers in the game of baseball today and they’re squaring off against middle-of-the-pack offenses. Webb has been on a tear recently, posting six consecutive quality starts. Furthermore, over four starts in May, the right-hander owns a 1.30 ERA and 1.05 WHIP.

On the flip side, we have Burnes, who has dominated San Francisco in the past. The Giants are slashing just .118/.183/.184 in 76 at-bats against the former Cy Young winner. As I mentioned, these offenses have been somewhat underwhelming this season. San Francisco is currently 15th in runs scored (230) and 17th in team batting average (.246) while Milwaukee is 25th (206) and 23rd (.234) in those respective categories. Let’s sit back and watch these star hurlers try to outduel each other. Give me the under!

Bet: Under 7.5 (-115)

New York Mets (-195) vs. Colorado Rockies (+162) | O/U 11.0 (-110/-110)

The Mets are rebounding after a pedestrian start to the season as they’ve now won seven of their last nine games. They’ll look for their second straight win of the series against the floundering Rockies. This National League tilt gets underway at 9:10 p.m. ET from Coors Field in Denver, CO.

I was on the Mets run line in last night’s 5-2 affair and I’m going right back to it today. Justin Verlander gets the nod for New York and he’s coming off of a brilliant start against the Guardians on Sunday. He limited them to just one earned run on three hits over 8.0 innings of work in a 2-1 victory. The 40-year-old is now 2-2 on the year with a 3.60 ERA and 0.92 WHIP.

Colorado counters with Chase Anderson, who makes his fifth appearance of the year. The right-hander has actually been solid in 15.2 innings with the Rays (two appearances) and the Rockies (two starts). He owns a 1.15 ERA and 0.96 WHIP. However, Anderson does not have great head-to-head numbers against the Mets. The current roster is slashing .308/.398/.570 against him with five home runs over 107 at-bats. New York’s hitters have 16 extra-base hits in those 107 ABs. So, factor in a little Coors Field offensive boost and I think New York can easily stretch this lead out to at least two runs.

Bet: New York Mets -1.5 (-130)

Miami Marlins (+170) vs. Los Angeles Angels (-205) | O/U 7.5 (-110/-110)

The Marlins took the series opener last night in a 6-2 interleague showdown. The two sides are back at it tonight for the nightcap with a first pitch scheduled for 10:07 p.m. ET. The location is Angel Stadium in Anaheim, CA.

Shohei Ohtani will head to the bump for the Halos tonight. He’s been excellent at home this season, going 3-1 with a 2.45 ERA and 0.85 WHIP over 33.0 innings pitched. Opponents are hitting just .131 against him at Angel Stadium.

As for Edward Cabrera, he has had a ton of issues away from LoanDepot Park. The right-hander owns a 6.15 ERA and 1.56 WHIP on the road this season. He’ll be tasked with taking on an Angels team that’s currently eighth in team batting average (.260) and ninth in OPS (.752). Look for another strong start from Ohtani while Los Angeles’ offense does enough to win by at least two runs. Angels on the run line is the play in this spot.

Bet: Los Angeles Angels -1.5 (+105)
