MLB Home Run Prop Bet Odds & Picks: Friday (6/14)
The weekend is upon us and I suggest we get the party started with a few longshot home run prop bets. Below I've listed three players I believe are primed to touch’em all tonight.

Friday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

Davis Schneider (+340)
The Blue Jays just dropped two of three to the Brewers, and they'll look to rebound tonight as they open up a three-game set with the Guardians. The pitching matchup for this American League clash pits Logan Allen against Kevin Gausman. The first pitch is scheduled for 7:07 p.m. ET from the Rogers Centre in Toronto, ON.
A lack of production at the top of Toronto’s order has allowed Davis Schneider the opportunity to step up and produce. He's not putting up monster numbers, but the right-handed outfielder brings in a .752 OPS (68th) and eight home runs (70th). He just blasted one against the Brewers in a 5-4 losing effort on Wednesday. I'll take a flier on Schneider to go yard tonight against Allen and the Guardians.
Schneider is 2-2 (1.000) against Allen with a home run and a double, which equates to a 4.000 OPS. The left-handed Allen brings in a 1.95 HR/9 rate, the highest amongst today's starters. As for his baseline numbers, the Cleveland hurler is 6-3 with a 5.57 ERA and 1.52 WHIP, so it's safe to say he hasn't been very sharp this year. Allen has conceded four bombs over his last three starts (13.1 IP), which translates to a 2.70 HR/9 rate over the three-start span.
Oneil Cruz (+275)
Pittsburgh has dropped into last place in the National League Central, where they now sit eight games off of Milwaukee's first-place pace. The Pirates will look to make up some ground this weekend as they take on the bottom-feeding Rockies. Pittsburgh's starter for Friday night is TBD, while Colorado will roll with Ryan Feltner. The first pitch is set for 8:40 p.m. ET from Coors Field in Denver, CO.
Feltner isn't putting together the best season in 2024, as he comes into this game at 1-5 with a 5.74 ERA (74th) and 1.48 WHIP (74th). At home, his ERA inflates to 7.30, where opponents are hitting .340 against him. Feltner's HR/9 rate isn't terrible considering he's throwing half of his games at Coors Field, but it sits at 1.17 entering the weekend.
I'll ride with Oneil Cruz to launch his 10th home run of the year in this game. The budding star brings in a .732 OPS (78th) and nine home runs (59th) this year. He's slashing .286/.316/.514 with two nukes over nine games this month. Cruz has taken Feltner deep in the past, as he's 2-3 (.667) against him with a homer. Finally, it's worth mentioning the Rockies bring in the worst bullpen in the MLB, sitting last in both ERA (5.62) and WHIP (1.62). They've also given up 31 tanks, the fifth-most in the Majors.
Christian Walker (+300)
The Diamondbacks used a two-home run night from Christian Walker to secure an 11-1 win over the Angels last night, moving the Snakes to 8-4 in their last 12 games. They'll try to stay hot as they open a weekend series with the White Sox. Chris Flexen gets the nod for the Sox, while the Diamondbacks counter with Ryne Nelson. The first pitch is scheduled for 9:40 p.m. ET from Chase Field in Phoenix, AZ.
Flexen hasn't been very productive in 2024, entering the weekend at 2-5 with a 5.06 ERA and 1.30 WHIP. The right-hander brings in a 1.27 HR/9 rate, the fifth-highest mark amongst today's starters.
Walker's coming off a two-home run night on Thursday, and he's blasted homers in two consecutive games. He's up to 15 on the year, which puts him in 11th in the MLB. The slugger is 3-4 (.750) against Flexen with a home run and a double. Like Colorado, Chicago brings in a bottom-tier bullpen as well. The Sox are 27th in bullpen ERA (4.84) and they've allowed the third-most home runs (35) in relief. Walker should have opportunities throughout this game to go deep.
