Another week of MLB action is in the books and the Los Angeles Angels tower above all squads with 30 home runs. Of course, the pros in Anaheim are not the only ones showcasing a power stroke at the plate early in the season. Here’s a look at three sluggers worth backing to launch a ball beyond the fence on Monday, April 14.

Monday's Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Mookie Betts (+450) and Kike Hernandez (Odds TBD)

Colorado’s Antonio Senzatela has allowed at least eight hits in each of his three starts and was just tagged for eight earned runs by the Brewers. Neither of those facts bodes well for the 30-year-old ahead of a showdown with the Dodgers, who love to jump on pitchers early. They lead the league with eight home runs on the first pitch and rank second with 21 homers during innings one through six.

I’ll double-dip with two LA sluggers on Monday. Mookie Betts is 9-for-20 with two dingers against Senzatela and boasts a ridiculous .945 OPS in 307 career games at Dodger Stadium. Meanwhile, Kike Hernandez is 5-for-9 with four extra-base knocks versus Senzatela and has gone yard twice in his previous seven contests overall. Those in search of a long-shot option could parlay both picks for a hefty payout.

Kyle Tucker (+430)

Kyle Tucker has made quite the first impression since joining the Cubs via trade in the offseason. The three-time All-Star has slashed .324/.442/.648 with a team-high five home runs and a league-high 19 runs scored in 18 games. Keep in mind Tucker is also tied for the third-most batted balls of at least 95 miles per hour (MPH) in the majors. There’s a reason his NL MVP odds continue to rise daily.

A matchup with Dylan Cease and the San Diego Padres looms next for Tucker. Cease has struggled to find his groove in 2025, recording a dismal 7.98 ERA and 1.57 WHIP across three outings. The right-hander has surrendered a homer in nine of his last 16 home starts and has let Tucker reach base in six of their 12 head-to-head clashes. Tucker is dangerous against any pitcher, but especially one he has gotten the best of before.

Paul Goldschmidt (+600)

Let’s take a chance on an intriguing dark horse in the middle of a hot streak. Paul Goldschmidt enters Monday batting .417 with three doubles over his past nine contests. Momentum is always great for a veteran stepping to the plate at Yankee Stadium. It’s worth pointing out that hitters have racked up a whopping 30 home runs at the New York venue so far this campaign. That is the highest mark in the sport.

Seth Lugo draws the start for Kansas City to kick off this series. The Royals hurler has conceded multiple homers to only seven players throughout his career. Goldschmidt is one of them as he is 7-for-11 with a pair of blasts versus Lugo. Slotting in at leadoff or cleanup in a strong Yankees lineup has benefited Goldschmidt in a big way. Pitchers are being forced to throw him strikes. Trust him to take advantage.
