Monday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets

(Odds courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)

Mookie Betts (+560)

It’s safe to say the first six starts of the campaign have not gone to plan for Miami’s Sandy Alcantara. The veteran right-hander’s strikeout percentage is the lowest it’s ever been (15.8%) while his hard-hit percentage (46.4%) is the highest it’s ever been during his MLB career. It’s a dismal combination that has led to an 8.31 ERA and 1.65 WHIP. Take note that Alcantara has surrendered a home run in four of his previous five outings.

A battle with the Dodgers on Monday does Alcantara no favors. Los Angeles sports a league-leading .866 OPS in home games. Mookie Betts sticks out as a target in this market, considering he is 7-for-16 with a pair of homers against Alcantara. The eight-time All-Star is also squaring up the ball on 47.6% of his swings that make contact. That is the best mark in a field of 351 qualified hitters. Bet on Betts to ignite the L.A. dugout with a moon shot.

Matt Olson (+460)

Atlanta’s Matt Olson is another slugger who is torching baseballs left and right. He checks in among the top 20 batters in hard-hit percentage (59.1%), average exit velocity (95.2 miles per hour) and barrel percentage (18.2%). Elite strength has helped Olson tally 161 home runs since the beginning of the 2021 season. That’s the fifth-highest total in the sport. Betting on him in an advantageous matchup is never a bad idea.

Brady Singer draws the road start for the Reds on Monday. The sixth-year hurler has conceded a homer in each of his last four starts overall and has allowed five dingers in two career appearances facing the Braves. Not only has Olson taken Singer deep before, but he has gone yard versus Emilio Pagan and Graham Ashcraft as well. Those are two relievers Cincinnati trusts on a nightly basis. This wager has a chance to cash up to the final out.

Jorge Polanco (+360) & Cal Raleigh (+300)

These final selections are about riding some hot bats. Seattle infielder Jorge Polanco is slashing a ridiculous .444/.532/1.122 to go with six homers and 14 RBI over the past 15 days. Meanwhile, catcher Cal Raleigh sits alone atop the home run leaderboard with 12 long balls and ranks third with a .587 slugging percentage this year. Those numbers are especially intriguing since a trip to Sutter Health Park in Sacramento is next.

The home of the Athletics rates second behind just Oriole Park at Camden Yards when it comes to Statcast’s offensive park factors in 2025. Friendly field dimensions and a familiar foe boost the scales in favor of Polanco and Raleigh. The Seattle duo is 7-for-15 with two blasts against Monday’s starter, Luis Severino. Keep in mind, Severino has been tagged for four jacks across four home starts. Lock these bets in with confidence.
