Sunday’s Best MLB Home Run Prop Bets
(Odds Courtesy of FanDuel Sportsbook)
Bryce Harper (+295) & Kyle Schwarber (+205)
Bryce Harper has been on a tear over the last 15 days, slashing .389/.460/.611 with six doubles and two home runs.
Today, he has an excellent matchup against Gunnar Hoglund. Hoglund is making his fifth start of the season, in which he has already let up six home runs and has allowed at least one home run in all but one start.
Hoglund's HR/9 of 2.53 and HR/FB rate of 24% are the highest among today's starting pitchers.
The righty primarily uses a two-pitch mix - fastball and change-up - but he lacks movement on both of them, which leads to meatballs being served over the plate.
The Phillies are one of the hottest teams in baseball and will take advantage of the batting practice being thrown today.
Seiya Suzuki (+370)
With the wind blowing out in Great American Ball Park today, we should see some dingers this afternoon.
The first person who sticks out is Seiya Suzuki. He has great batter vs. pitcher stats, batting .333 (3-for-9) with two doubles against Nick Lodolo.
Along with Pete Crow-Armstrong and Kyle Tucker, Suzuki has been one of the Cubs’ best hitters all season. He is second on the team in home runs (13), is tied for first in doubles (13) and is tied for first in RBI (46).
