Will Benson (+450

The Reds (34-33) notched their fourth straight win last night, defeating the Guardians (34-31) in a 7-4 contest. The intrastate rivals are back at it tonight, and we have a pitching matchup between Andrew Abbott and Slade Cecconi. First pitch is scheduled for 6:40 p.m. ET from Progressive Field in Cleveland, OH.

Slade Cecconi hasn't been overpowering in his debut campaign with Cleveland, going 1-2 with a 4.87 ERA and 1.43 WHIP in four starts (20.1 IP). The right-hander has been susceptible to the longball, registering HR/9 and HR/FB marks of 2.66 and 20.7%, respectively. Those are both the highest rates among today's starting pitchers.

The Reds have found success against Cecconi in the past, as their current roster is slashing .283/.321/.491 against him over 53 at-bats. Specifically, Will Benson has done damage, going 4-for-8 (.500) with a pair of home runs and a double. That's an OPS of 1.931! Benson has only six tanks this season, but he's also only played in 27 games. Across 82 at-bats, that's an average of a home run once every 13.7 at-bats. If he qualified, that'd be the sixth-best in the Majors. Let's take a +450 flier on Benson to leave the yard tonight.

Yandy Diaz (+550

The surging Rays (36-30) continued their heater last night, logging a series-opening 10-8 victory over the Red Sox (32-36). Tampa will turn to Ryan Pepiot tonight as they try to keep things rolling. Boston counters with Lucas Giolito in this divisional matchup, which gets underway at 7:10 p.m. ET from Fenway Park in Boston, MA.

I'm looking to fade Lucas Giolito any time that he takes the ball, because with his current form, we may not get many more chances to do so. The right-hander has been horrendous in 2025, logging a 6.42 ERA and a 1.63 WHIP in seven outings (33.2 IP). Giolito's HR/9 rate is 1.60, while his HR/FB percentage is a modest 14.0%.

I like this matchup for Yandy Diaz, who has been raking in June, slashing .346/.452/.500 in 26 at-bats. He's coming off of a 2-for-4 night last night, and he also went deep against the Marlins on Sunday in a 3-for-4 outing. Diaz is up to nine home runs on the season. He's 4-for-16 (.250) against Giolito in his career with a home run, two doubles, and only three strikeouts. Considering each guy's form, I think it's worth a shot to back Diaz tonight in Boston.

Shohei Ohtani (+205)

Let's wrap things up out West, where the Dodgers (40-27) and Padres (37-28) continue their marquee series. Los Angeles has yet to announce a starter, but it's confirmed that San Diego will send Dylan Cease to the bump. First pitch is set for 9:40 p.m. ET from Petco Park in San Diego, CA.

San Diego's Dylan Cease hasn't looked like the guy who bagged a fourth-place Cy Young finish last season. In 2025, the right-hander is 1-5 with a 4.72 ERA (67th) and a 1.31 WHIP (57th). His HR/9 rate of 1.05 is the highest that it has been since 2021 (1.09).

The Dodgers have hit Cease well, slashing .286/.339/.500 against him over 112 at-bats. Shohei Ohtani stands out, as he's 6-for-19 (.316) against him with three bombs and a double. Ohtani's 23 big flies are the second-most in the Majors, and he also ranks second in OPS (1.015). The MVP frontrunner (-250 at DraftKings) is homering once every 11.3 at-bats, which is the third behind only Cal Raleigh (9.1) and Aaron Judge (10.4). I'll back Ohtani to crush one tonight at Petco.
