(Odds via DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jose Ramirez (+320)

Jose Ramirez is putting up All-Star numbers for the Cleveland Guardians yet again. He's hitting .330 with a .933 OPS and 11 home runs this season. The third baseman has especially been on fire lately, batting .419 with a 1.084 OPS over his last 15 games.

Ramirez has two homers in the past five games amid his current hot streak. He's also gone deep five times in the past 19 games. Ramirez has a good chance of leaving the yard again tonight in a favorable matchup with plenty of splits in his favor.

Houston Astros starter Colton Gordon has a 5.95 ERA and 1.37 WHIP through four starts this season. He's given up three or more runs and five or more hits in every outing so far. The rookie left-hander has also allowed four home runs across his four starts. Gordon had a solid 2.55 ERA in Triple-A this year before getting called up, but he still coughed up six homers in eight outings.

The switch-hitting Ramirez will be on the better end of his splits from the right side against the southpaw Gordon. Ramirez is hitting .426 with a .630 slugging percentage and 1.089 OPS against left-handers this year. Plus, nine of his 11 homers have come against lefties. Last season, Ramirez had a .348 batting average, a .695 slugging rate and a 1.081 OPS versus southpaws with a .348 ISO in the split as well.

Meanwhile, Gordon has been notably worse against right-handed hitters. He's allowed a .300 batting average, a .586 slugging rate and a .914 OPS to righties thus far. Plus, all four of his home runs allowed have been in this split. This is a great matchup for Ramirez to stay hot.

Pete Alonso (+240)

Pete Alonso has been one of the league's top home run hitters ever since he entered the league. Well, his 2025 campaign is following a similar tune. The New York Mets slugger has 15 home runs so far this season, and he's on a power surge lately.

Alonso has smacked four homers over his last five games, including two on Wednesday and another on Thursday against the Dodgers. He's also hit six home runs over his past 11 games. Let's keep riding the hot bat with Alonso in another favorable matchup on Friday.

The Mets begin a series against the Colorado Rockies in hitter-friendly Coors Field tonight. That fact alone should put Alonso and other New York hitters on our radar. Plus, gascan Antonio Senzatela is on the mound for the Rockies.

Senzatela has an ugly 7.14 ERA and 1.98 WHIP this season. He's coughed up four or more runs and seven or more hits in seven straight starts with an 8.82 ERA in this stretch. He also just allowed seven runs and two homers to the Mets in his latest outing.

The Colorado right-hander has given up 11 home runs across his 12 starts so far this year. He's allowing a ton of hard contact with a 47.4% hard-hit rate (11th percentile) and 10.8% barrel rate (19th). Plus, his .592 xSLG allowed is in the bottom 2% of MLB starters. Facing Senzatela in Coors Field is a hitter's dream right now.

As for Alonso, he's hammering right-handed pitching this season. The Mets first baseman is hitting .307 with a .597 slugging percentage and a .993 OPS against righties. Plus, 12 of his 15 homers this year have come in the split.

Alonso has also crushed at Coors Field with a .377 batting average, a .754 slugging rate and a 1.178 OPS in his career at the park. He's hit six home runs in 15 career games at Coors Field as well. Meanwhile, Senzatela has allowed a .341 batting average, a .585 slugging rate and a .966 OPS to righty hitters this season. He's also given up eight of his 11 homers in the split.

If you need any more convincing, Alonso has been successful in this head-to-head matchup in the past. He's 5-for-14 (.357) in his career against Senzatela. None of those hits were home runs, but tonight might change that.
