Wednesday’s Best MLB Home Run Props & Bets

    (Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

    Corey Seager (+300)

As the summer heat ramps up in Texas, so is Corey Seager.

After struggling most of June, Seager has caught fire. Over the last seven games, Seager is batting .318 with three dingers and an ISO of .500.

Today, he gets another favorable matchup against Orioles starter Tomoyuki Sugano.

Sugano has allowed five home runs in his last four starts. Of the 17 home runs he has allowed all year, 11 have been to left-handed hitters.

    Aaron Judge (+215)

Believe it or not, but +215 odds are some of the better odds you will see for an Aaron Judge home run prop.

When I backed Judge earlier this week, his odds were +155.

Judge has done fairly well against Blue Jays starter Jose Berrios in his career, batting .378 with five home runs over 37 at-bats.

While +215 odds may not be worth it to some people, Judge has the second-highest probability of going yard, according to my projections.

    Cam Smith (+255)

I was hoping these odds would be a bit higher, maybe closer to +300, but we will take what we can get.

Cam Smith has been one of Houston’s hottest hitters, batting .407 with two home runs over his last seven games.

What I also love about the rookie third baseman is that he is the Astros’ best hitter when facing opposing left-handed pitching.

Smith leads the team in home runs (four), ISO (.366) and RBI (10). He ranks second on the team in doubles (three) when facing a lefty on the mound.

Rockies starter Austin Gomber is making his fourth start of the season, with varying results.

In two starts against the Braves and Dodgers, he went a total of 10 innings, giving up one earned run and six hits.

In another start against the Diamondbacks, he went 4.2 innings, giving up nine earned runs and 12 hits.

Righties are smashing the ball against Gomber, batting .386 with three home runs, while lefties are batting .091 with zero home runs against him.
