Here are our top No Runs First Inning (NRFI) bets, picks, and predictions for today, Saturday, June 10.

Saturday’s Best No Runs First Inning (NRFI) Bets

Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook

Boston Red Sox at New York Yankees

Tanner Houck vs. Domingo German

These two starters are not flashy in any way, but they have very serviceable starters and have a real shot at cashing the NRFI for us today.

Tanner Houck is 3-5 with a 5.46 ERA. Despite the high ERA, his xFIP is 3.72, and his xERA is 3.85, meaning he may be catching some unlucky breaks, and he is a lot better than what the traditional stats tell us. Houck’s troubles usually start to show the second time through the lineup. Good news for us NRFI bettors, we only need three outs!

The Yankees will not have Aaron Judge in the lineup as he landed on the IL once again, and that is excellent news not having to deal with him in the 1st inning.

Domingo German has pitched exceptionally well for the Yankees. He is 3-3 with a 3.69 ERA and he has not allowed more than two earned runs in five of his last six starts.

The Red Sox rank in the bottom half of every advanced hitting metric over the past 30 days, including ISO, wOBA, and wRC+

Houck and German have a combined NRFI record of 16-6.

Bet: NRFI (-115)

San Diego Padres at Colorado Rockies

Ryan Weathers vs. Kyle Freeland

Betting the YRFI goes hand in hand with the HR Props I released earlier this morning.

Despite the poor offensive start for the Padres Lineup, we may see the beginning of a power surge for the Dads! Over the last 30 days, the Padres rank 10th in ISO (.172) and have hit 33 home runs, the 13th most in that time frame.

Tatis has hit eight of his 12 home runs over the past 30 days, and we may be seeing the start of a hot streak for San Diego, winning two straight and 10 of their last 17 games.

The Padres have a great matchup with the Rockies starting Kyle Freeland. Freeland has given up 12 home runs on the year, and 11 have been to right-handed batters.

Padres’ starter Ryan Weathers is just as bad; he is 1-4 with a 5.09 ERA and has allowed three or more runs in four straight starts.

Let’s hope one of these offenses can jump out to an early lead.

This is a juicy line so bet responsibly

Bet: YRFI (-175)
