Starting Pitchers: Walbert Urena vs. Sandy Alcantara
The Angels will attempt to secure a series victory on Saturday after defeating the Marlins 4-3 on Friday night. Los Angeles will hand the baseball to Walbert Urena (7-7, 2.54 ERA), while Miami counters with Sandy Alcantara (12-6, 3.68 ERA). The Marlins have been a reliable squad to back from a NRFI perspective. They sport the sixth-highest NRFI cash rate in the Majors, featuring a clean opening frame in 63 of their 117 contests (54%).
Alcantara has kept his opponent from crossing home plate in the first inning in an impressive 20 of his 24 starts this year. The two-time All-Star’s dominance in the first inning is highlighted by 25 strikeouts and only three walks. The Angels visit LoanDepot Park with the second-highest strikeout total (786) and the third-lowest OPS (.688) versus right-handed pitching in 2026. Trust Alcantara to exploit a stellar matchup.
