(Odds courtesy of DraftKings Sportsbook)

Jonathan Cannon 2+ Walks (+135)

The White Sox will not have a historically bad season like in 2024, but they won't be much better.  The offense hasn't been good, ranking 26th in runs scored (3.4 per game) and 22nd in ERA (4.08).

They have dropped seven of their last 10 games and now take on the first-place Tigers. They'll send Jonathan Cannon to the mound, who has already pitched against Detroit this year, allowing three walks. He's been much better lately by not allowing more than one walk in six straight starts, but Cannon's 15% walk rate against this lineup should break this streak.

Colt Keith 2+ Total Bases (+120)

The Tigers are continuing the momentum they've built from the second half of last year, which pushed them to the American League Division Round (ALDS). It will be the pitching that will push this team to another playoff run, as they are fifth in ERA, but they have some offensive pieces they are optimistic about.

Colt Keith struggled to start the season, but he's been on a run recently with a hit in seven straight games. He is batting .321 in that span. Keith had a lot of success against Jonathan Cannon and is 4-for-7 with a home run against him.

Shohei Ohtani Over 2.5 Hits + Runs + RBI (-120)

The Dodgers are rolling, coming off a good weekend against the Yankees, where they took two out of three games.

Reigning National League MVP Shohei Ohtani leads the league with 22 home runs, and he ranks third in OPS (1.045). We'll focus on his league-leading 63 runs. Being at the top of the lineup gives him a chance for an extra at-bat. What also helps is that there are four Dodgers players, including Ohtani, who are in the top 21 in RBI. Ohtani has had success against Mets starter Paul Blackburn, who is making his first start of the season, going 4-for-9 with a home run against him.
