MLB Player Props & Bets: Saturday (8/22)
With about 30 or so games left in the regular season, there aren't many more Saturdays left with a full 15-game slate to bet on. It's a sobering thought, I know. So, let’s make the most of the ones we have left and bet on some MLB player props.
There are lots of great props out there, but the following are my top picks for the day.

Saturday’s Best MLB Player Props
(Odds courtesy of BetMGM)
Dylan Cease Over 8.5 Strikeouts (-115)
Dylan Cease leads baseball in strikeouts with 201. In his two previous starts versus the Yankees, he went over this total in both. He has gone over it in six of his last nine games.
In last night's game, the Yankees struck out 12 times, with nine coming in the first seven innings. New York has struck out 66 times over the last week (six games).
Jordan Walker Over 1.5 Total Bases (+110)
Jordan Walker has hit .412 over the last week with eight of his 14 hits going for extra bases (including four home runs). He went 3-3-for-5n last night's game and has gone over this total in six of his last seven games.
Teams are hitting .281 against Andrew Painter in Philadelphia, making this +110 prop a tremendous value play.
Rafael Devers Over 1.5 Total Bases (+138)
Rafael Devers has hits in six of his last seven games, with six hits going for extra bases (four doubles, two homers). Patrick Sandoval has a 1.85 WHIP, and opponents are hitting .333 against him at Fenway Park.
Devers is batting .250 over the last week, so a hit isn't guaranteed, but if he gets one, Sandoval's track record suggests extra bases are likely.
Isaac Paredes Over 0.5 Singles (+110)
Isaac Paredes has hit safely in six of his last seven games, recording 10 total hits across those games. Of those hits, just three went for extra bases.
Jacob Lopez has a 1.53 WHIP, and teams are hitting .276 against him on the road. Houston doesn't have the most reliable lineup, but with Paredes’ recent hitting, this prop has value.
Dominic Canzone Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (+105 )
Dominic Canzone did not get a hit last night but had hit safely in his previous six games, with multiple hits in four of them (10 total hits). In those games, he recorded a run and an RBI in three of them (four total).
Canzone went over this total in five of those six games. With how he has been playing, this is a solid value play.
