MLB Player Props & Bets: Saturday (9/19)
With the MLB regular season winding down, we don’t have many 15-game schedules left to take advantage of as bettors. But we do have one today, and several matchups are great for betting on MLB player props.

Saturday’s Best MLB Player Props
Cam Schlittler Over 6.5 Strikeouts (+110 at FanDuel Sportsbook) & Over 17.5 Outs Recorded (-128 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
I can't see why the over has plus-money odds for this prop. Cam Schlittler has gone over 6.5 strikeouts in his last four games and in six of his last seven. Arizona has averaged 10 punchouts per game over the last week across five games. Only one opposing starter in the Diamondbacks’ last seven games went over this mark. However, Schlittler is one of baseball’s best pitchers. I'm not turning down plus odds on this prop.
Schlittler has pitched six or more innings (18+ outs) in his last three games and in four of his last five. With how he's been pitching (0.86 ERA in September; six hits allowed across three starts and 21 innings), I don't see Arizona chasing him before the sixth inning.
Dustin Harris 2+ Hits + Runs + RBIs (+121 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Marlins starter Eury Perez has struggled in September, lasting just 13.2 innings across his last three starts and giving up 23 hits and 16 runs. He is ripe for someone with a hot bat, like Dustin Harris, to strike. Harris has hit safely in his last eight games, recorded a run in six (seven total), and drove in at least one run in six (12 total). To be honest, I'm surprised this prop has plus money odds.
Harris has gone over this total in his last seven games. It’s not a bad idea to consider taking him to go over three or more combined hits + runs + RBIs at +259 odds.
Tarik Skubal Over 18.5 Outs Recorded (+107 at DraftKings Sportsbook)
Tarik Skubal has gone over this prop in just nine out of 24 games this season and in three out of eight since joining the Dodgers. But he has gone over it in his last two and in three of his last five. He lasted seven or more innings in his last two outings, throwing 90 and 94 pitches. Tyler Glasnow was pulled after six innings last night but had a higher pitch count (98). That makes it hard to know what the Dodgers will do with Skubal.
However, since Skubal has gone 7.0 and 7.1 innings in his last two starts, I see value in this prop at plus-money odds.
