Thursday’s Top MLB Player Props & Bets

(Odds courtesy of Hard Rock Bet)

Cody Bellinger Over 1.5 Hits + Runs + RBIs (-125)

There's an argument to be made that Cody Bellinger is the hottest hitter in Major League Baseball at the moment. Over the last seven days, the Yankees slugger leads the league in wOBA (.669) and ISO (.636), while sitting third in batting average (.579). Bellinger has cleared 1.5 combined hits + runs + RBIs in four of his last six games.

This is a favorable matchup for Bellinger and the New York offense. Their current roster is slashing .279/.353/.541 against MacKenzie Gore (4.67 ERA) across 61 at-bats. That includes Bellinger, who's 3-for-9 (.333) against him with a double and two walks. He should have opportunities to both drive in runs and come around to score. Give me Bellinger to go over this combo prop to get the day started.

Seth Lugo Under 2.5 Earned Runs Allowed (-115)

Kansas City's Seth Lugo continues to thrive in the American League Central, even at the age of 36. Lugo comes into this matinee clash with the Guardians with a 1-1 record, a 2.68 ERA (20th) and a 1.24 WHIP (55th).

In seven starts this season, Lugo has allowed two or fewer earned runs on six occasions. The right-hander also has great head-to-head numbers against Cleveland, holding their current roster to a slash line of .188/.244/.350 over 80 at-bats.

The Guardians are averaging a measly 4.05 runs per game (23rd) this season, and I don't anticipate them finding too much success in this matchup against Lugo.

Elly De La Cruz Under 0.5 Hits (+135)

The Reds are trying to avoid the brooms in Chicago on Thursday afternoon, and they're going to have a tough time doing so against the Cubs' top hurler in Shota Imanaga. The southpaw has been dialed in this season, going 3-2 with a 2.40 ERA (13th) and a 0.85 WHIP (4th).

Additionally, Cincinnati has been struggling mightily at the dish over the last week, ranking 25th in wOBA (.295) and seventh in strikeout rate (25%).

Elly De La Cruz has gone hitless in four of his last six outings. He's 0-for-7 (.000) lifetime against Imanaga with three strikeouts. I don't think he or the Reds will turn things around today. I'll take De La Cruz to go hitless.

Mitch Keller Over 17.5 Outs Recorded (-105)

The Diamondbacks typically have a pretty strong offense, but that just hasn't been the case recently. Over the last seven days, the Snakes are 29th in wOBA (.264) and 25th in ISO (.108).

After getting shut out by Paul Skenes and Gregory Soto in a 1-0 loss on Wednesday night, the Diamondbacks will now try their hand at Mitch Keller. The right-hander has looked sharp in 2026, going 3-1 with a 2.85 ERA (27th) and a 1.05 WHIP (28th). Keller has been a workhorse, registering six or more innings (18+ outs) in five of his seven starts.

Keller also has a solid track record against Arizona, holding their current lineup to a slash line of .188/.242/.282 over 85 at-bats. With Keller's form and the Diamondbacks struggling at the dish, I think the Pittsburgh starter is primed for a quality start. Let's take him to record 18+ outs.
