Wednesday’s Best MLB Player To Hit a Home Run Bets

Aaron Judge (+290)

Since returning from his injury, the reigning A.L. MVP has been scorching hot. Judge returned to the Yankees lineup on May 9th; since then, he has been hitting .300 with five HRs, which have all come over the past four games.

In May and June of last year, Judge dialed in with the HR during his historic 2022 season; let’s see if he continues this power surge tonight against Chris Bassitt and the Blue Jays.

Randy Arozarena (+550) & Josh Lowe (+650)

A couple of weeks ago, we jumped on the Rays bandwagon and took Randy Arozarena (+550) to hit a home run, so we are returning to the well today with another great matchup for the Rays.

Both Arozarena and Lowe are among the best against RHP. Josh Lowe has nine HR home runs against righties, which is 1st on Tampa Bay’s roster and tied for 9th most in the MLB. Not only are his HR among the most in the league he also ranks in the top 20 in ISO, wOBA, and wRC+

Randy Arozarena’s advanced metrics are as high as his teammates; his success against righties is still outstanding. Five of his 10 and 27 of his 35 RBI have come against righties. After being held hitless over his last two games, this may be a great bounce-back spot for the Rays’ outfielder.

Trea Turner (+550) & Bryce Harper (+425)

The Phillies’ offense has been frustrating during the early stages of 2023 because it’s been so inconsistent. They rank in the middle or right around the league in the most advanced metrics.

Today Turner, Harper, and the Phillies offense have a good matchup against righty Ross Stripling. Stripling has the highest HR/9 and HR/FB rates on today’s slate. Harper leads the Phillies team in ISO (.346) when there is an RHP on the mound.

While Turner does not have the raw power of teammate Bryce Harper, Tuner has been consistent over the past two years as his R/L splits have been even in terms of HRs.
