Wednesday’s Best MLB Player To Hit A Home Run Bets
Rafael Devers (+285), Triston Casas (+320), and Jarren Duran (+450)
We are all in on this Boston lineup against Royals’ starter Jordan Lyles.
It took Jordan Lyles 15 starts before recording his first win of the season, and now all of a sudden, he has two wins over his last two starts.
Lyles is 3-12 with a 6.24 ERA, and while he’s shown signs of improvement at home, his road splits are still awful. While two of his three wins are on the road, his ERA balloons up to 7.56 when he pitches away from Kauffman Stadium.
Devers, Casas, and Duran have the highest ISO on the team against RHP, while Devers (18) and Casas (17) lead the team in HRs against righties.
This should be a nice spot for a bounce-back game for the Red Sox after losing last night 9-3.
Pete Alonso (+330)
I am still trying to figure out what it is with the Cubs, but when the Polar Bear sees a Cub, he’s out for blood.
The Mets and Cubs have faced off five times thus far; in those games, Alonso has hit five home runs, including three over the past two games.
Despite living in freezing temperatures, the Polar Bear is hot right now!
Alonso has hit an HR in three consecutive games twice this season; let’s make it a third today.
Corey Seager (+380) & Adolis Garcia (+360)
Not sure there is a hotter duo than Corey Seager and Adolis Garcia in August.
Seager and Garcia are tied for the top spot for most HRs (4) this month, while Seager leads the MLB in ISO (.538), and his teammate is right behind him in second at .519.
The Athletics are pitching a bullpen game which is excellent news for our HR Props, as Oaklands relievers have given up the most HRs in the league.
