Here are our favorite prop bets for tonight’s opening round of the Division Series.

Max Fried: o/u 4.5 Hits Allowed

Max Fried faced the Phillies four times in 2022 and is 0-1 with a 3.13 ERA. In 3 of those 4 starts, he has allowed five or more hits and has surrendered an average of six hits over his last nine postseason starts.

Phillies stars like Bryce Harper, Nick Castellanos, J.T. Realmuto, and Jean Segura have a career average of over .280 against Max Fried.

The Pick: o4.5 Hits Allowed (-130 DraftKings)

Mike Clevinger: o/u 3.5 Hits Allowed

Mike Clevinger has minimal playoff experience, with most of his appearances coming in relief.

Tonight he faces one of the best lineups in baseball in the Los Angeles Dodgers. Unfortunately for Clevinger, the Dodgers were not kind to him in 2022.

In three starts, the Padres’ starter is 0-2 with a 9.69 ERA and allowing a total of 14 earned runs. Dodgers hitters are hitting a combined .291 against Clevinger this season.

The Pick: o3.5 Hits Allowed (-150 DraftKings)

Julio Urias: o/u 17.5 Outs

Julio Urias ended the 2022 regular season with a 17-7 record and a 2.16 ERA. Urias completely shut down the Padres’ offense this season.

In four starts, Julio went 3-0 with a 1.50 ERA. Padres hitters had a posing average of a lousy .181.

Despite Urias’s success against San Diego, I don’t think he finishes six complete innings. That is not a knock on him, but maybe Dave Roberts’ strategy. Urias has never pitched more than five innings in his postseason career. Managers seem to have a shorter leash on starters once postseason play starts.

The Picks: u17.5 Outs (-130 DraftKings)

Mookie Betts: o\u 1.5 Total Bases

I am sure Mookie Betts is licking his chops, knowing he gets to face the Padres in the NLDS. In 2022, Betts had an average of .361 with 10 doubles, 1 triple, and 3 home runs against the Padres. Of his 22 hits, 14 have been extra-base hits; that is insane.

The Pick: o1.5 (+120 DraftKings)

Justin Verlander: To Record The Win

Justin Verlander may pick up another Cy Young Award in 2022. He finished the regular season with an 18-4 record with a 1.75 ERA, the second lowest of his career.

He is 10-1 at home this season and has completely dominated the Seattle Mariners in 2022. In six starts against the Mariners, Verlander posted a 5-1 record with a 2.34 ERA. He has pitched at least six innings in each of those starts, and there is a good chance the veteran starter goes deep into tonight’s game.

The Pick: Yes (+130 DraftKings)

Jose Ramirez: To Hit a Home Run

If it weren’t for Aaron Judge’s historic season, Ramirez would get serious consideration for this year’s A.L. MVP Award. He finished the 2022 campaign with a .280 batting average with 28 home runs and 126 RBI.

Ramiez is one the best fastball hitters in the games, and Gerrit Cole relies heavily on his fastball, throwing in nearly 52% of the time. Ramirez has had some luck against Cole in his career, batting .273 over 22 at-bats with two home runs.

Look for Ramirez and the Guardians to be aggressive early on.

The Pick: Yes (+550 DraftKings)
