Top 3 MLB Playoffs Player Prop Bets Picks & Predictions: Monday (Guardians vs. Yankees)

With a small slate like today’s single game to choose from, we sometimes have to get a bit creative to find props to choose from. The fact that pitching will likely be changed quickly means we do not have our usual places to target, but there is enough interest here to find a few bets I like.

Aaron Judge o1.5 TB (-110)

Judge has had a rough series thus far, but he’s the type of player where one swing can change things. This is a bit of a narrative play taking a chance on the best player in the season’s biggest game. Judge has looked better in the last two games, and all he needs is one big swing to hit this bet.

Aaron Civale u3.5 K (-115)

I do not anticipate Civale being long for this game with the Guardians’ bullpen as strong as it is. While he has some strikeout ability against a lineup with loads of swing and miss, I do not see him getting past the fourth inning, which is what I forsee him needing to hit this one. I think the Yankees jump on him early, forcing Terry Francona to go to his talented bullpen early.

Anthony Rizzo First Hit (+1200)

This is not normally the type of bet that I would take, but I find this one slightly interesting. Rizzo likely will hit third in the bottom of the first, but I expect Taillon to have a clean top of the frame and think Rizzo’s approach and skillset make him a good match for Civale. While I anticipate the Yankees getting to Civale early, I think that may manifest in a free pass for Judge and Rizzo coming to the plate with no hits allowed yet.
