MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks for Friday, August 12 (2022)
Here are three of our favorite parlays for Fridayâs slate of MLB games.
Pittsburgh Pirates vs. San Francisco Giants
The Giants will send up Carlos Rodon, whoâs been one of the Giantsâ most reliable starters. He has an electric fastball that he can reach into the upper 90s, and he will live and die by it, but he remains effective with 11.3 strikeouts per nine. Heâs already seen the Pirates this year, and it was one of his best outings with shutout innings and struck out eight,
Bryse Wilson has struggled in the first part of the year but has turned it around over the six starts with a 3.34 ERA.
The problem is that he hasnât seen much run support in his starts. Itâs difficult to back Wilson against a pitcher like Rodon and see the great outing he had against them this year.

Detroit Tigers vs. Chicago White Sox
- Leg 1: White Sox -1.5 (-114)
- Leg 2: Jose Abreu to record 3+ total bases (+200)
- Leg 3: Michael Kopech Under 6.5 strikeouts (-160)
Michael Kopech is going through a rough stretch with a 4.70 ERA in his last six starts. His best start during this stretch was against the Tigers, allowing just two earned in 5.1 innings.
The Tigers recently fired their general manager as they continue to be one of the leagueâs worst lineups, so look for Kopech to rebound in this start.
Daniel Norris will begin his second stint in Detroit after being released from the Cubs a couple of weeks back. With his previous time in NL Central, heâs faced this White Sox lineup, but the history is not good as the roister is hitting .292 lifetime against him.

Philadelphia Phillies vs. New York Mets
Max Scherzer remains dominant after returning from the IL with a 1.37 ERA, while the Mets are 5-2 in those starts. He already has one great start against the Phillies this year and an even better history as the roster is batting just .203 against in 189 at-bats.
Ranger Suarez has been brilliant recently, pitching three shutouts, and has an ERA of 2.75 in his last nine starts.
This will not be an easy start for him as the Mets are one of the hottest offenses in the league right now. Theyâre coming in today with the best OBP (.383), the second-best average (.303), and wRC+ (147) in the month of August. He will have to be nearly perfect going against Mad Max.
