MLB Same Game Parlay Odds & Picks: Friday (4/11)
Everyone is going to approach how they bet on MLB same-game parlays (SPGs) in their own special fashion. Some will go for the gold and try to win big with high-risk, multi-leg SGPs. But that's not my style.
When I'm betting on MLB same-game parlays, I want to at least double my money. I'm going to target the markets I feel are most likely to hit, regardless of odds. As long as the SGP odds are over +100, I'm happy.
With that in mind, here are a few parlays I'm putting money on tonight.

Boston Red Sox vs. Chicago White Sox
- Leg #1: Red Sox Moneyline (-156)
- Leg #2: Rafael Devers to Record a Hit (-250)
I almost feel a little like I'm cheating by picking the Red Sox. Why? The White Sox look like they are trying to challenge their single-season loss mark from last season (121). I'm not crazy about Boston's starting pitcher tonight (Sean Newcomb), but with how poorly the White Sox are playing...
Rafael Devers is hitting .278 this season and has gone 1-for-3 vs. White Sox pitcher Davis Martin. Over the last week, he has hit .417 with 10 hits in 24 at-bats across six games. If I'm going to get behind anyone to get a hit, it's someone hitting .417 against a pitcher with a 1.55 WHIP.
A $100 wager will result in a $201 payday, your stake ($100) plus $101 in winnings.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres SGP #1
- Leg #1: Nick Pivetta Under 6.5 Strikeouts (+134)
- Leg #2: Padres Moneyline (-210)
Nick Pivetta is not a big strikeout kind of guy. In two starts this season, he has had four in each. Over the last two months of the season last year, he recorded more than 6.5 strikeouts in a game just once. Over the last week, the Rockies ranked 12th in the league in strikeouts with 46. I think he tops out at six, which makes the under the way to go.
I thought about going with the run line here because the Padres have hit .290 over the last week, but only generated 20 runs. With how poorly the Rockies (3-9) are playing, a team playing as well as the Padres (10-3) should easily win. But I don't trust them to win by two runs.
A $100 wager will result in a $348 payday, your stake ($100) plus $248 in winnings.

Colorado Rockies vs. San Diego Padres SGP #2
- Leg #1: Xander Bogaerts to Record a Hit (-220)
- Leg #2: Luis Arraez to Record a Hit (-330)
- Leg #3: Martin Maldonado to Record a Hit (+105)
- Leg #4: Manny Machado Hit a Home Run (+460)
I'm getting a little greedy here, going with four legs. But the Rockies’ pitching staff ranks fourth in hits allowed over the last week. Luis Arraez and Martin Maldonado are hitting .500 over the last week, and Xander Bogaerts is hitting .429. I'd say the chances each gets a hit are pretty good. Manny Machado has just one home run over the last week (and this season). But the Rockies have given up 10 over the previous week.
This may be just the opportunity Machado needs to crank up the power.
A $100 wager will result in a $1,813 payday, your stake ($100) plus $1,713 in winnings.

New York Mets vs. Athletics
- Leg #1: Francisco Lindor to Record a Hit (-290)
- Leg #2: Pete Alonso to Record a Hit (-250)
- Leg #3: Juan Soto to Record a Hit (-230)
All three have hit well over .300 for the last week:
- Francisco Lindor: .368
- Pete Alonso: .389
- Juan Soto: .333
Athletics pitchers have been getting beaten up, giving up 55 hits (second-most) over the last week. It concerns me a little that A's pitcher JP Sears has a 1.0 WHIP, but I have faith in Mets hitters.
A $100 wager will result in a $243 payday, your stake ($100) plus $143 in winnings.
