Detroit Tigers at Chicago White Sox

The White Sox picked up a win in the first game of this series, but they just dropped three of four against the Tigers last weekend. Dylan Cease will take the bump, and although he has a great history against the Tigers, this has not been a good year in general for him. He allowed four earned and four walks in four innings in a no-decision last weekend.

The Tigers couldn’t use that momentum from the previous series and lost two of three at home against Texas earlier in the week. Michael Lorenzen hadn’t established himself as a starter till last season for the Angels, but it’s working out for him this year for the Tigers thanks to a 1.95 ERA and opponents batting .186 in May.

Detroit went 4-1 in those starts, including against Chicago, and look for it again.

Parlay Odds: +664

Toronto Blue Jays at New York Mets

The Blue Jays have been very streaky all season but are currently in a positive regression winning five of their last seven. After the 2022 season, where he got the big contract, Jose Berrios had a bad year. He has turned it around this season and is 3-1 with a 2.30 ERA in his last five starts.

The red flag is the 12 walks he has during that span and he is going against a Mets lineup with the seventh-best walk percentage. Tylor Megill will take the mound for New York, and for a pitcher that allows contact and is in the 60th percentile in hard-hit rate, it’s easy to fade him in this matchup.

Berrios has overcome the walk issues and will get the win, plus Toronto has the lineup advantage.

Parlay Odds: +541

New York Yankees at Los Angeles Dodgers

The Yankees dropped the first game as Luis Severino struggled in Los Angeles. New York has the best guy to get them back on track, as they’ve won seven straight when Gerritt Cole is on the mound. Cole has been lights out during that span with a 1.35 ERA and 2.09 FIP.

The Dodgers could put an end to that with a red-hot offense that’s scoring 7.5 runs per game over their last six. Michael Grove will make his return Saturday after a stint on the IL. Even before that, his season was not going well, allowing over a hit per inning, and opponents had a .879 OPS.

The Yankees lineup has been just as good and that will help them against a young and struggling pitcher.

Parlay Odds: +707
