Kansas City Royals at Los Angeles Angels
- Leg 1: Angels -1.5 (+104)
- Leg 2: UNDER 9.5 Runs (-110)
- Leg 3: Mike Trout To Record 2+ Total Bases (-125)
Last night took an unusual turn for the Angels as they allowed five runs in the ninth to drop that game 11-8. This was an unusual offensive explosion for a Kansas City offense that went into last night’s batting .203 with a weighted on-base percentage of .259.
The early success of the Angels hasn't been because of the offense, as the pitching has done the job while the lineup has done enough to contribute. They are seventh in hits allowed per game and ninth in earned runs allowed per game.
LA's Reid Detmers has two excellent outings where he allowed two earned runs, and his only bad start came against an outstanding Blue Jays lineup. KC's Jordan Lyles barely gets any run support, but he hasn't helped his own cause allowing 12 earned in his last three outings.
The Halos will regroup and take this series.

Chicago White Sox at Tampa Bay Rays
- Leg 1: White Sox ML (+128)
- Leg 2: OVER 7.5 Runs (-115)
- Leg 3: Lucas Giolito UNDER 5.5 Strikeouts (-126)
The White Sox want to prevent the sweep and break this three-game losing skid. Lucas Giolito will take the mound, and although his surface numbers aren't great, that stems from one bad outing where he allowed seven earned against the Pirates, and he has since posted back-to-back quality starts.
Easier said than done with how great the Rays are this year. Although the winning streak is over, they continue to be the best, and their resiliency with two straight walk-offs shows they have a chance until the final out. Zach Eflin has two impressive outings to start the season, but it's been against the Tigers and Athletics, so this is a big step up in competition.
That will prove too difficult, and it will be Chicago to score enough for a win and to avoid the sweep.

Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees
- Leg 1: Aaron Judge To Record 3+ Total Bases (+180)
- Leg 2: OVER 8.5 Runs (-122)
- Leg 3: Bo Bichette To Record 2+ Total Bases (-105)
The Blue Jays continue to show how great this lineup is, and they are in the top six in hits per game, expected batting average, and barrel percentage. What hurt them last year and continues to do so is the pitching, and they're 19th in hits allowed per nine and 21st in ERA. Kevin Gausman currently leads the team with 30 strikeouts and a 3.65 ERA, but he's been roughed up in his previous two starts allowing a total of ten earned in 12.2 innings.
Power hitting and pitching is how the Yankees win, and so far, they've been successful. They are an all-or-nothing lineup like last year, as they are fourth in home run percentage and 20th in strikeout percentage. It has been a disastrous year for Clarke Schmidt, and he's gotten the quick hook in all four of his starts and has not gone past the fourth inning.
The Yankee roster is hitting .300 against Gausmen with a .490 slugging, and combined with Schmidt's woes, this will turn into an offensive showdown
Parlay Odds: +794
